AC duct fabrication, and who this page is for
This is the fabrication side of AC ducting work. If you are a fit-out or MEP contractor pricing a duct package, or a building team replacing a run, you send drawings and we send back fabricated AC duct. If you also need it hung, sealed and balanced on site, that is AC duct installation. If the existing ducting is sound and the problem is what has built up inside it, that is AC duct cleaning.
Materials. Galvanised iron sheet is the default and covers most of what leaves the workshop. Stainless and aluminium are fabricated where a specification calls for them, which is usually kitchen extract, wet areas and corrosive environments. Tell us which the specification names and we confirm it against the drawing before anything is cut.
Standards. Construction follows SMACNA, as set out above. Where a consultant specifies DW144 instead, flag it at tender stage rather than after fabrication, because the gauge schedule and the joint classification differ between the two documents and that changes the cut list, not just the paperwork. Fire and smoke dampers are DCD approved types.

Rectangular and round ducts
Standard galvanised rectangular ducts from 26ga to 16ga, gauge matched to dimensions and static pressure. Round ducts where spec calls for them.
Transitions, offsets, elbows, takeoffs
Fabricated to drawing, with 90° and 45° takeoffs, custom transitions and offsets for tight ceiling voids and field-fit conditions.
Dampers and fire dampers
Manual and motorised dampers, volume control dampers (VCDs), DCD-approved fire dampers and smoke dampers — supplied with access doors at every junction.
Plenum boxes and diffuser collars
Custom plenum boxes for AHUs and terminal units, diffuser collars sized to grille spec, transitions to match existing trunk dimensions.
Spiral ducts
Spiral ducts where exposed-spec installs require a clean visible finish — restaurants, retail and architectural ceilings.
Sealed-joint construction
TDC, TDF and slip-and-drive joint systems sealed for DCD compliance. Insulation-ready outer surface, clean and deburred for foil or elastomeric application.
Materials and standards we fabricate to
Galvanised steel (GI) to the gauge the duty requires: 24 gauge for low pressure and small sizes, 22 gauge through the mid range, 20 gauge on large or high pressure runs. Pre-insulated (PI) panel where the void is tight or the programme is short. Spiral and round for exposed runs.
Seams and joints by Pittsburgh lock, with TDF or TDC flanged connections rather than slip and drive where the specification calls for it. Cutting on an automated coil line, with plasma for fittings and transitions.
Fabricated to DW144, the standard most Dubai specifications reference, or to SMACNA where a US specified project calls for it. We state which on the submittal rather than leaving it to be discovered at inspection.

Outsourced duct fabrication in Dubai typically runs 7–14 working days for standard scope. We do most of the same scope in 1–3 days because the workshop is ours.
