Painting Services in Dubai
Interior and exterior painting that survives Dubai's climate — UV, heat, salt air, summer humidity. We use Jotun, Dulux, Berger and other premium systems matched to the surface and the conditions. Surface prep is where we spend the time, because the prep is what makes the paint last.

What our painting team handles
Most painting failures in Dubai aren't about the paint — they're about what was (or wasn't) done before the first coat went on. Plaster cracks, oily kitchen ceilings, salt-bloomed villa exteriors, peeling balcony paint that was never primed for UV. We do the prep properly first.
Interior wall and ceiling painting
One- and two-bedroom apartments through to whole-villa interiors. Fresh-coat refresh, full repaint with colour change, or post-renovation finishing. Two coats of paint as standard, primer where needed.
Exterior villa and townhouse painting
Salt-air and UV resistance is the whole game. We use Jotun Jotashield or Dulux Weathershield Max systems with proper crack-bridging primer where the substrate has movement.
Surface preparation
Sanding, hairline-crack filling, full-skim plaster repair where needed, masking and protection. Most contractors skip this. We don't — it's where the paint actually earns its lifespan.
Wood and metal painting
Doors, frames, balcony railings, gates. Different primer system than wall paint. Salt-air corrosion check on metal — pre-treat with rust converter where needed.
Anti-bacterial and easy-clean paint
For clinic refurbs, kitchens, kids' rooms — Jotun Lady Pure Color or Dulux Easycare. Wipe-clean finish that resists scuff marks.
Colour matching and consultation
Sample boards painted on-site so you see the colour in your own light before committing. We don't pressure on premium tints — just helping you see what looks right at 40 °C summer light.
Wallpaper removal and re-prep
Stripped, washed, primed, and skim-coated as needed before painting starts. Glue residue is one of the top causes of paint not adhering on Dubai walls.
Stencil, accent and feature walls
Single accent walls, geometric stencils, ombre fades. Premium-priced area we keep grounded — coordinated with the rest of the room rather than fighting it.
Touch-up and snag-list painting
Small areas — a child's wall scuffs, a single repainted ceiling after a leak, post-renovation snag list. Same standard of prep, just smaller scope.
Furniture protection and clean-up
Drop sheets, plastic over fixtures, masking around switches and skirtings. Daily cleanup so you can use the room overnight if needed.
When the walls are due a repaint
Some signs are obvious, some are slow. Here is what tells you the existing paint has hit its limit.
Bubbling or peeling near windows
Condensation cycling has lifted the paint film. Often after a hot summer where AC ran heavily. Needs scraping back, primer, and proper paint — not another coat over the bubbles.
Hairline cracks across plaster
Plaster movement. Cosmetic in most cases but worth filling and skimming during a repaint, otherwise the new paint will track the same cracks within months.
Faded or washed-out colour
UV degradation, especially on south- and west-facing exterior walls. Repaint with a UV-stable system (Jotashield or Weathershield Max) — standard interior paint will fade again within 18 months.
Brown patches on ceilings
Past leak. Even a fully repaired leak leaves a stain that bleeds through fresh paint without a stain-blocking primer. We use one — most decorators skip it.
Mould spots in bathrooms or kitchens
Moist surface + standard paint = recurring mould. Anti-fungal primer first, then anti-bacterial paint. Cleaning the mould without the primer step buys you 6 months at most.
Just bored of the colour
Genuinely the most common reason people repaint. Worth doing properly with sample boards before you commit — Dubai light is harsh, mid-tones can look wildly different at 7am vs noon.
How a Samra paint job runs
Six steps. Same on a single feature wall and a full-villa repaint.
Site visit and quote
For anything beyond a single small room. We measure, walk the surfaces, identify prep work needed (cracks, plaster repairs, water damage, wallpaper). Written line-item quote within 1–3 working days.
Colour consultation and sampling
Sample boards painted in your space if the colour choice is non-trivial. Different north / south walls, different times of day. No upselling — just helping you not regret the colour.
Furniture protection and masking
Drop sheets over flooring and furniture, plastic over fixtures, painters' tape on skirtings, sockets, switches, ceiling lines. Done before any paint comes out.
Surface preparation
Sanding, crack filling, plaster repair, primer where needed. Stain-block on water marks. Anti-fungal primer in bathrooms / kitchens. This is the day where it looks like nothing is happening — but it's the most important day.
Two-coat finish
Primer-suited base coat, then two finish coats. Cutting in by brush, rolling for body. Whole-room consistency — we don't leave one wall a touch lighter because we ran out and topped up from a second tin.
Walk-through and snag
Once dry, we walk the rooms with you. Any holiday spots, drips, or fine touch-ups noted and fixed on the spot. Signed handover, photo report, workmanship-warranty start logged.
How we price painting work
Quoted in writing before any work begins. Paint type, surface area, and prep condition are the three drivers.
Fixed-price written quote
Site visit first for anything beyond a single room. We measure, scope the prep work, and quote line-item — labour, paint, primer, fillers, masking. No surprise mid-job upcharges.
What changes the price
- Surface area in square metres
- Paint system tier — standard / premium / specialist
- Prep condition — fresh plaster vs. heavy crack repair vs. wallpaper strip
- Interior vs. exterior (UV-stable systems cost more)
- Access — scaffold / ladder / bosun\'s chair for high villa exteriors
How to get a quote
WhatsApp room photos and rough measurements + your area in Dubai. We schedule a site visit for accurate measurements and confirm the all-in price before booking the work in.
Workmanship and material warranties
Two layers on every paint job. Workmanship is ours; material warranties on the paint and primer pass through directly from the manufacturer (often 5–10 years for premium exterior systems).
workspace_premiumWorkmanship warranty
6-month workmanship warranty — if the same issue returns within 6 months due to our work, we'll fix it free of charge. Covers labour only.
For painting specifically: drips we missed, holiday spots, fish-eyes from inadequate prep on our part. The paint film failing through external causes (further water ingress, moving cracks, scuffing) isn't a workmanship failure but we'll quote a touch-up at fair rate.
verifiedMaterial warranties
Material warranties depend on the products and systems we install. Many of the brands we work with — including Jotun, Dulux, Berger, Asian Paints, Sherwin-Williams, and others — carry manufacturer warranties ranging from 1 to 10 years depending on the product. We'll confirm exact warranty terms for the specific materials used on your project before work begins.
Frequently asked questions
What warranty do you provide?
We offer two layers of warranty. First, a 6-month workmanship warranty on the labour we perform — if the same issue returns within 6 months due to our work, we re-do it at no cost. Second, material warranties pass through directly from manufacturers — some systems we install carry warranties of up to 10 years. We'll share exact warranty terms for your specific project before we start.
Does the workmanship warranty cover parts and equipment?
No. Parts, fixtures, and equipment are covered by their manufacturer warranties, which we pass through to you directly. The workmanship warranty covers only the quality of the installation or repair work itself.
How long does a paint job take?
Single bedroom: 1–2 days. 2-bedroom apartment: 3–5 days. 3-bedroom apartment: 5–7 days. Whole-villa interior: 10–14 days. Add 30–50% if heavy prep is needed (full skim coat, wallpaper strip, water-damage repair). Exterior painting depends on access — bosun's-chair work is slower than scaffold.
Can I stay in the apartment during painting?
Yes, in most cases. Modern water-based paints have low VOC and are safe to be around once the wet film has skinned (1–2 hours per coat). We schedule rooms in sequence so the bedroom is always available overnight. For full-villa repaints we coordinate phasing with you so a habitable area is always paint-free.
Do you supply paint, or do I bring my own?
Both work. We supply at trade pricing, usually competitive with retail by the time the right primer and fillers are factored in. Or you supply, we apply — same workmanship warranty. We just need to know the system before starting so we can match the primer correctly.
How do you handle exterior villa painting in summer?
Carefully. Direct-sun painting at 45 °C is a recipe for paint failure — the surface is too hot, the film flashes off before bonding properly. We work the shaded sides through the day, schedule sun-side walls for early morning or late afternoon, and shut down completely if surface temperature exceeds the manufacturer's spec. October to April is genuinely the better window for exterior work.
Do you do anti-bacterial paint for clinics or kids' rooms?
Yes. Jotun Lady Pure Color, Dulux Easycare, and similar systems have proper anti-bacterial properties suitable for clinics, salons, kitchens, and children's rooms. Wipe-clean finish that handles scuff marks, food splashes, and sanitiser cleaning without dulling.
