- Studio from AED 600: 1 to 2 days on site; with no second room to retreat to, most people prefer to be out for the day.
- 1BHK (one-bedroom) from AED 850: 1 to 2 days on site.
- 2BHK (two-bedroom) from AED 1,200: 1 to 2 days on site, phased so at least one bedroom stays usable throughout.
- 3BHK from AED 1,800: 2 to 3 days on site; we quote it from a site visit, not from photos.
- 4BHK from AED 2,200: site visit first, as with a 3BHK.
Your own figure comes in a written line-item quote. For a single room, photos are usually enough to quote. Most quotes come back within the same working day.
Bedroom count is only a rough guide: a large 1BHK can carry more wall than a small 2BHK, so we measure. The price moves with wall area, preparation, paint tier, ceilings and woodwork, a dark colour going back to light, and building fees. A balcony is an exterior surface that takes a UV-rated system, so it is painted only if you ask for it and is quoted as its own line. Painting inside a Dubai tower: building access, service lift and working hours
On our apartment jobs, the building sets when trades work, which lift they use and how it is protected, and some buildings ask for a deposit or an NOC before our crew goes up. So we:
- submit the contractor paperwork and book the service lift for your dates;
- work inside the permitted hours, because a crew turned away at reception costs you a day;
- protect the corridor and lift lobby route, clearing it every day;
- move furniture to the centre of each room and cover it, sheet floors, seal AC returns and tape skirtings, sockets and ceiling lines before preparation, and put the furniture back at the end;
- clean finished rooms down the same evening; you do not need to move out.
Your part: give us the building name when you enquire, ask building management which documents it needs from the unit owner or tenant, and if you rent, check with your landlord first. Bathroom and kitchen paint for Dubai humidity
For a bathroom, what people call anti-fungal paint is a two-part system at Samra: an anti-fungal primer first, then a moisture-resistant, easy-clean finish, semi-gloss where the walls get wet, because moisture on standard paint turns into mould spots. Mould already on the wall is treated before the primer goes on, because painting straight over mould does not last.
Kitchens are degreased before anything else, because oily walls and ceilings reject paint. Condensation marks by the AC outlets and old leak stains are sealed with a stain-blocking primer first, or they bleed back through the new paint.

Dulux Arabia lists "Low odour & low VOC" for EasyClean, Ambiance, Inspire Interior and Walls & Ceilings Eco Matt, and Jotun lists "No typical paint smell" and "Improved indoor air quality" for Fenomastic Wonderwall Lux on its UAE site. Can you paint a room in 3 hours?
No, not with proper preparation. Filling, sanding and priming come first, then two coats as standard, and each coat needs drying time: Dulux lists a drying time of 2 to 4 hours and 2 coats for its EasyClean interior emulsion, so one room is a job of days, not hours.
How many hours to paint a 1 bedroom apartment?
Plan in days, not hours. A 1BHK takes 1 to 2 days on our jobs, the same as a studio or a 2BHK; a 3BHK takes 2 to 3 days. Heavy preparation, wallpaper removal or a dark-to-light colour change adds time, and the quote says so up front.
What is the best paint for apartments?
A finish chosen per room: matte for bedrooms and ceilings, eggshell or satin for living rooms and hallways, semi-gloss for kitchens and bathrooms, and enamel for frames and skirtings, covered on our door painting in Dubai page.
What paint brand do apartment complexes use?
The brand is your choice: we apply Jotun, Dulux or the brand you choose, with the exact product and tier named on the quote. In developer buildings we match the original developer paint code where it can be traced, so one marked wall can often be repainted on its own; where the code cannot be traced we say so and quote the full wall or room.
Which color is best for an apartment?
Choose it in the room itself: Dubai light is harsh, and the same mid-tone looks different at 7am than at noon, which is why Samra paints sample boards in your own space when the choice is not obvious. Renting? Check with your landlord before changing a colour.
How often does an apartment need to be painted?
