The exterior is the half that decides how long the job lasts. Dubai villas take year-round UV, and salt air carries much further inland than most owners expect.
UV-stable exterior systems
Jotun Jotashield or Dulux Weathershield Max, specified for the elevation. A standard interior product on an exterior wall puts you back in the same position inside 18 months, which is the single most common reason a villa needs repainting far too early.
South and west elevations get the attention
Those two faces take the hardest sun load and fade first. They often need a heavier specification than the shaded faces, and we say so on the quote rather than pricing every wall the same and hoping.
Render repair before coating
Where the render has moved we fill and skim first. Crack-bridging primer goes on where the substrate is still moving, rather than where the crack is only cosmetic. Painting over live movement means the new film tracks the same lines within months.
Boundary walls, gates and compound features
Perimeter walls, pillars, metal gates and railings. Metal gets a corrosion check and rust converter where it is needed before any topcoat, because a gate near the coast fails at the substrate long before the colour goes.
Community colour rules
If your community has an approved exterior palette or requires an NOC before a colour change, we work to it and supply what the community office asks for. Tell us the community at the site visit.
Original developer paint codes matched
Emaar, Nakheel, Damac and other developer communities hand over on a specified colour. We match that original code, which matters twice: a repair to one wall blends instead of sitting a shade off, and a whole-villa repaint stays inside the community's approved scheme. Where a code cannot be traced we tell you rather than guessing.

Large-volume interior work, phased room by room so the household keeps functioning.
Double-height stairwells and entrance halls are the parts most quotes get wrong. They need tower access and two people rather than a ladder and one, and that shows up on our quote as its own line rather than as a surprise on day four.
Ceilings are included and cut in by brush, then rolled for body. Wet areas take a different specification: anti-fungal primer first, then an easy-clean or anti-bacterial finish. Kitchens get degreased before anything else happens, because oily ceilings reject paint no matter how good the product is.
Where wallpaper is coming down, we strip, wash off the glue residue, prime and skim before painting. Glue residue left on the wall is one of the most common reasons a fresh coat will not adhere in Dubai homes.

Site visit and measure
We walk every elevation and room, record access constraints, and identify the preparation work. Villas are always quoted after a visit, never over the phone.
Written line-item quote
Interior, exterior, boundary walls, access, preparation and paint tier, each on its own line, and the figure is fixed.
Colour sampling
Sample boards painted on your own walls. Dubai light is harsh, and an exterior mid-tone reads very differently at 7am, at noon and under compound lighting.
Protection and masking
Drop sheets, plastic over fixtures, tape on skirtings, sockets and ceiling lines. Outside, that means covering paving, pool surrounds and planting.
Preparation
Sanding, crack filling, skim repair, degreasing, stain blocking and priming. On the exterior this is the longest stage.
Two-coat finish
Applied in the right window. On exteriors we work the shaded elevations through the hottest part of the day, because surface temperature rather than air temperature decides when a coat can go on.

We walk every room and elevation with you, fix holidays and drips on the spot, then log the warranty start.
Villa painting questions
How long does a villa repaint take?
It is quoted after the site visit rather than from floor area, because preparation condition and access drive the schedule more than square metres do. A villa interior in sound condition moves quickly. One with render repair, wallpaper removal and two-storey exterior access takes considerably longer, and we give you the day count in writing before starting.
Can we stay in the villa while you paint?
Yes. We phase the work room by room, agree the sequence with you at the site visit, and clean down daily so finished rooms are usable overnight.
Do you paint boundary walls and gates?
Yes. Perimeter walls, pillars, metal gates and railings. Metal gets a corrosion check and rust treatment where needed before any topcoat.
Can you paint the exterior in summer?
Yes, with the schedule built around surface temperature. We work shaded elevations during the hottest hours and start early. Applying to a surface that is too hot ruins the film, so the sequence matters more in July than in January.
My community has an approved colour palette. Is that a problem?
No. Tell us the community at the site visit and we work to the approved palette and supply what the community office asks for before we start.
I have three quotes and they are wildly different. Why?
Almost always because they describe different work rather than different margins. Check each one for the number of coats, whether preparation and filling are included or extra, the paint product and tier by name, whether ceilings and woodwork are counted, and how exterior access is priced. On villas, access is the line that most often separates a low quote from a realistic one. Ours lists all of it separately so it can be compared.
Do you handle just the exterior, or just the interior?
Either. Many owners do the exterior one year and the interior the next. Both are quoted separately so you can split the work across budgets.
