Exterior villa painting Dubai: facades, boundary walls and gates
The walls facing south and west take the hardest sun load and fade first. They often need a heavier system than the shaded sides, and we say so on the quote rather than pricing every wall the same.
What we paint outside a villa:
- Facades, front, back and sides. Hairline and plaster cracks are filled first, and crack-bridging primer goes on where the render is still moving.
- Boundary walls, perimeter walls and pillars.
- Metal gates and railings, given a corrosion check and rust converter where needed, because near the coast a gate fails at the metal long before its colour fades.

Which exterior paint holds up to Dubai heat and UV?
For villa exterior paint under Dubai heat and UV we apply a UV-stable exterior system, specified face by face, in Jotun, Dulux or the brand you choose, and the quote names the exact product and tier. In our experience, a villa painted outside with a standard interior product needs another repaint inside 18 months.
We work to the maker's specification, and paint makers set their own warranty terms. Our 6-month workmanship warranty covers labour: if the same issue returns within 6 months because of our work, we return and fix it.
Community colour approval and original developer paint codes
Before changing a villa's exterior colour, check with your master developer or community management office whether your community keeps an approved palette or asks for an NOC. Samra handles the community or developer colour-approval submission, supplies what the community office asks for, and paints to the palette it sets. We cannot promise approval.
If your villa came from Emaar, Nakheel, Damac or another developer in a specified colour, we match that original paint code so a repaired wall blends in and a full repaint stays inside the scheme. Where a code cannot be traced, we tell you so.
Interior villa painting with the family still at home
We agree the room order at the site visit, work through it in phases and clean down daily.
- Double-height stairwells and entrance halls need a tower and two painters, not a ladder and one, and our quote shows that as its own line.
- Ceilings are cut in by brush, then rolled for body.
- Bathrooms and wet areas get anti-fungal primer, then an easy-clean finish.
- Kitchens are degreased first: an oily ceiling rejects paint.
- Where wallpaper comes down, we strip it, wash off the glue, prime and skim, because glue left on the wall can stop a fresh coat adhering.
Wood takes a different primer system from wall paint. We also paint wooden doors, frames and kitchen cabinets, with doors from AED 399 per door and kitchen cabinets from AED 150 per cabinet door. Limewash is another finish we apply, on interior walls only, from AED 180 per sqm.

Can a villa be painted in one day?
Not a whole villa: a full repaint with people living in the home is weeks of work. A single bedroom takes our crew 1 to 2 working days on site.
Can you paint a villa outside in October or in summer?
Yes. The schedule follows the wall's surface temperature, not the air temperature, because that decides when a coat can go on. In summer the work starts early.
When should you not paint a villa exterior?
Not when the wall surface is too hot, because the paint film fails; not while water is still getting into the wall, because paint will not hold until the waterproofing is done; and not over render that is still cracking, unless crack-bridging primer goes on first.
Can I just paint over old exterior paint?
Not where the paint is bubbling or peeling: that needs scraping back and priming, not another coat over the bubbles. Water stains need stain-blocking primer first. On a villa exterior, that preparation is the longest stage.
How often should a villa exterior be repainted in Dubai?
Repaint when the wall shows the signs: fading or chalking, bubbling or peeling paint, or render that has moved.
Does heat reflective paint really work?

Dulux Arabia describes Dulux Weathershield as a high performance exterior paint for all-weather and colour protection, and lists it as protecting against UV and heat up to 50°C. The brand is your choice, and the quote names the exact product.
How do I choose an exterior paint color for full sun, and which color is not recommended?
Test it on your own wall before you commit: Dubai light is harsh, and an exterior mid-tone reads very differently at 7am, at noon and under compound lighting, so we paint sample boards there first. Not recommended: any shade outside your community's approved exterior palette, if your community keeps one.
