We are electricians, not a charger shop: we fit the wall charger you already own or have chosen, the manufacturer unit that came with the car, a Tesla Wall Connector, or any Type 2 wall charger, and our advice about your electrical installation is not steered by a hardware margin. 7.4 kW single-phase or 11–22 kW three-phase is a decision your distribution board and DEWA load make with you. We check what your supply actually carries before recommending the connection size, because an overloaded DB trips every evening at exactly the moment the whole street starts cooking dinner.
DEWA-aware, end to end
Where the charger pushes your villa past its approved load, that is a DEWA load-increase application, DEWA-facing work we are licensed for and handle. Where your existing load carries it, no application is needed and we say so instead of inventing paperwork.
What an EV charger installation actually involves
The charger on the wall is the visible tenth of the job. The rest is the part that decides whether it charges at full rate for years or nuisance-trips from week one.
A dedicated circuit, not a shared one
The charger gets its own run from the DB, correctly sized cable for the distance and load, no sharing with the garage sockets or the water heater. Cable that is undersized for a long run to the gate parking is the classic shortcut we get called to redo.
RCBO protection on its own way
The circuit lands on its own RCBO in the board, so a fault on the charger trips the charger, not the villa.
Load check before, live test after
We measure what your installation carries before quoting the connection size, and we finish with a charging test on your own car so you watch it draw at the rate you paid for.

Villa or apartment: what changes
Villas and townhouses are the straightforward case: your DB, your wall, your parking. The only third party that may enter the picture is DEWA, if the added load needs a capacity increase, and that application is work we handle.
Apartments and shared buildings add one honest step: the parking bay and the riser belong to the building, so installing there needs the building management or owners association to say yes, usually as an NOC. That decision is theirs, not ours and not yours alone, and no installer can promise it for you. What we do: tell you exactly what to request from your building, install to whatever conditions their approval sets, and handle the electrical side from the landlord meter or the approved supply point once the yes is in writing. If your building has already approved chargers for other residents, the path is usually short.

If it is a Type 2 wall unit from a real manufacturer, we install it. If it is an unbranded marketplace box with no documentation, we will tell you honestly why we would rather not put our name on it.
Load-managed and smart charging
Where your DB is tight, a charger with dynamic load management can throttle itself around the villa's live demand instead of forcing a DEWA load increase. Whether that saves you the application is a measurement question, and the load check answers it.
How the installation runs

Send photos of your charger (or the model you are buying), your DB board with the cover open is a bonus, and the parking spot with a sense of the cable route. Most quotes start from exactly this.
Load check and fixed quote
We confirm what your supply carries, the cable route and any DEWA step, then quote fixed and in writing, connection size, cable run, protection and making-good, each on its own line.
Installation day
Dedicated circuit run, RCBO fitted, charger mounted and terminated to the manufacturer's spec, route made good.
Test, handover, paperwork
Charging test on your car, RCBO tripped on the tester in front of you, and the documentation handed over with a written workmanship warranty.
EV charger questions
Do you supply the charger too?
No, and that is deliberate. You buy the charger you want, from the car maker, or any Type 2 wall unit, and we do the electrical work. It keeps our advice about your installation independent of any hardware margin, and it usually saves you money against a bundled package.
Are you a Tesla-authorized installer?
We are independent, licensed electricians, not a dealership program. The Wall Connector ships with a published installation specification, and our job is to meet it: dedicated circuit, correct breaker, torque-checked terminations, and a live charging test on your car at handover. Ask any installer, whatever they call themselves, for exactly that list.
Do you install BYD chargers?
Yes, constantly. The unit BYD supplies is a Type 2 wall charger like the rest, and it goes on a dedicated protected circuit like the rest. Send a photo of the unit and your parking on WhatsApp.
Can you install the charger that came with my car?
Yes. Manufacturer-supplied wall units and granny-cable upgrade decisions are the most common jobs we see. Send the model on WhatsApp and we quote from it.
Single-phase or three-phase, which do I need?
It depends on what your car can accept, what your DB carries and how fast you actually need to charge overnight. A 7.4 kW single-phase unit fills most cars overnight; three-phase 11–22 kW makes sense when the car supports it and the supply carries it. We tell you after the load check, not before.
I live in an apartment. Can I get a charger?
Sometimes, it depends on your building. The bay and riser are common property, so building management has to approve the installation, normally via an NOC. We cannot promise their answer, and you should be wary of anyone who does. We can tell you exactly what to ask them for, and once approval is in writing we handle the rest.
Will the charger overload my villa's supply?
That is what the load check answers before anything is installed. If the numbers are tight, the options are a load-managed charger setting, a smaller connection, or a DEWA load increase, we lay out all three with what each means, and you choose.
How long does the installation take?
Most straightforward villa installations are done within a day on site. Long cable routes, groundwork to a gate-side bay, or a DEWA application step add time, and the quote tells you the schedule honestly before you commit.
