Emergency Electrician in Dubai, 24/7
Sparking socket, burning smell, a breaker that will not reset, half the villa dark. Message or call the emergency electrician line now: answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and you get the callout basis in writing on WhatsApp before anyone is dispatched. No surprises stacked on top of a bad evening.
While you wait: make it safe
Ninety seconds of reading that matters more than anything else on this page.
Burning smell or visible sparking
Switch the main isolator at the DB off if you can reach it safely. Do not investigate by touch, and do not keep resetting a breaker onto a burning smell. If there is smoke or flame, leave and call Civil Defence first. Electricians come second to fire services, always.
Tingling from taps, appliances or metalwork
That is an earthing fault. Keep everyone away from the metalwork, switch the main off if safely reachable, and say the word "tingling" first when you contact us. It moves you to the front of the queue.
Total power loss
Check whether the neighbours are dark too. A street-wide outage is a DEWA network matter: report it through DEWA's own channels and their app. If it is only your property, it is your installation, and that is exactly our job.
A breaker that will not reset
Leave it off. A breaker that will not hold is holding back a live fault, often a short circuit, and forcing it repeatedly cooks the fault deeper into the circuit. Unplug what you can on that circuit and tell us what tripped.
Water into electrics
An ac leak over a light fitting, a burst pipe near sockets: switch the affected circuits off at the DB and do not use the fittings until they are tested dry. Common in Dubai summers, and genuinely urgent.
What the on-call electrician does on arrival
Make safe first
The fault is isolated so the property is safe before anything else happens, that is the point of an emergency visit.
Find the actual fault
Proper diagnosis with testers, not part-swapping. You are told what failed and why in plain words.
Fix it, or make it safely liveable
Most emergency faults are fixed on the spot. Where a repair needs parts or daylight, the circuit is made safe, everything else goes back on, and the return visit is booked before we leave, you are not left dark and wondering.
Paper afterwards
What was found, what was done, what (if anything) should happen next, in writing, with the workmanship warranty.
Straight answers about emergency callouts
Emergency electrical repair in Dubai has a reputation problem: invented "response minutes" on websites, and prices that grow in the van. We run it differently: the callout basis goes to you on WhatsApp in writing before dispatch, the electrician who quotes the repair is the one standing at your DB, and the same company answers the phone tomorrow if anything about the fix needs a second look. We are the team behind 10,000+ jobs across Dubai since 2019; an emergency is where that record either means something or it does not.
Emergency electrician questions
Are you really available at night and on Fridays?
Yes, the emergency line runs 24/7, every day. Routine bookings have working-hours slots; emergencies do not wait for them.
How fast can someone reach me?
Honestly: it depends on where you are, where the on-call electrician is, and Dubai traffic at that hour, anyone quoting a fixed number of minutes on a webpage is guessing. When you message, you get a real arrival window for right now, before you commit to anything.
What does an emergency callout cost?
The callout basis is sent to you in writing on WhatsApp before dispatch, and the repair itself is quoted at the property once the fault is diagnosed, not invented over the phone. No work happens without your yes on a written figure.
The whole street is dark. Can you help?
A street or district outage is DEWA's network, not a private installation, report it through DEWA's official channels and app. Where we help is everything on your side of the meter: if your neighbours came back on and you did not, call us.
Is a tripping breaker really an emergency?
A breaker that trips once and holds when reset can usually wait for a normal booking. A breaker that will not hold, trips with a smell, or trips alongside tingling or scorching is an emergency, treat it as one and call.
Do you handle commercial emergencies too?
Yes, shops, clinics and offices, where downtime is money, the full commercial side lives on our commercial electrical page. For premises that cannot afford repeat surprises, the longer conversation is an annual maintenance contract with emergency cover built in.
Areas we cover

Related services
After the emergency is over, the follow-up usually lives on one of these pages: DB board and fuse box upgrades for the panel that caused the evening, villa rewiring where the fault is the installation's age, the wider electrical services page, and emergency maintenance for the non-electrical half of a bad night, plumbing, ac and the rest.
Electrical emergency? Move it off this page
