Retail Display Joinery in Dubai

Retail display joinery Dubai brands can put their product on: display cases and cabinets, gondola and wall display systems, counters, window displays and the stockroom joinery behind them, built by Samra's own carpenters and installed to your store programme. From a single display cabinet to a fixture repeated across every branch, at one finish standard. Send fixture drawings if you have them, or just photos of the unit and what has to go in it, and we price from there.

Store fixtures and displays we build

Display cases and display cabinets

Timber and glass display cabinets for high-value product: lockable doors, glass shelves, mirrored backs and integrated lighting, built to the height and sightline your merchandising plan calls for rather than to a catalogue size.

Gondola and wall display systems

Free-standing gondola display units and perimeter wall displays with adjustable shelving and interchangeable fittings, so the store can be re-merchandised without a carpenter on site every season.

Cash desks and service counters

Cash wraps, service and consultation counters with cable management for terminals and screens, drawer and safe housing, and edges detailed to survive years of customer contact.

Brand and product displays

Perfume, cosmetics and electronics displays: small products, close inspection, and a finish that has to read as brand furniture. This is the most exposed carpentry in retail and the work we ask to be judged on.

Window and feature displays

Window platforms, plinths, risers and feature walls that change with the campaign, built so seasonal swaps are a lift-out rather than a rebuild.

Kiosks, pop-ups and exhibition stands

Mall kiosk, pop-up and exhibition-stand joinery, built as sections before install day and assembled on location inside the centre's install window, the same lane as our shop and retail fit-out work.

Stockroom and back-of-house joinery

The half of the store customers never see: stock shelving, rails, packing benches and staff lockers, sized for the space that is always smaller than the plan.

Rollouts: the same fixture, every store, one standard

Building one display unit well is a carpentry job. Repeating it across a chain, store after store, in different malls, under different landlords' rules, on dates the brand cannot move, is a production discipline. Our retail work runs from single display cabinets to multi-room display programmes and store fit-outs for retail brands, alongside mall retail units across the city.

What a chain gets from us is repeatability: one unit built and signed off first, the same materials and hardware specified for every subsequent store, production batched ahead of the installs, and installs sequenced against each location's programme. Where a store needs a variation, because the unit is a different shape or the landlord demands it, the change is drawn and priced before anything is cut.

Why display joinery is judged differently

verified

Customer distance, not contractor distance

A shopper stands within arm's length of the fixture. Edges, reveals, shadow gaps and grain direction are all read at that range, so the tolerances that pass on a site fit-out do not pass here.

verified

Lighting is part of the joinery

Display lighting has to be planned into the carcass, not taped on afterwards: driver housing, cable routes and heat clearance designed in, wired by our own electricians so one company owns the finished unit.

verified

Security without ugliness

Locks from Yale, toughened or laminated glass and concealed fixings on high-value displays, specified so the unit protects the product and still looks like furniture rather than a safe.

verified

It has to survive trading

Trolleys, restocking, cleaning chemicals and daily customer contact. Materials and finishes are chosen for the wear a store actually delivers, which is why we specify board and edging rather than let the cheapest quote decide it.

Working inside mall and landlord rules

Dubai's malls and landlords each run their own fit-out rules: contractor registration, access documentation, delivery routes, service-lift bookings and installation windows. Tell us the centre at quotation stage and we work to its pack, arrange the permits and approvals the job needs, and plan the install so the store is ready to trade the next morning.

How a display project runs

Send what you have

Fixture drawings and a finishes schedule if head office has issued them, or photos of the unit and a note on what has to go in it. WhatsApp or info@samrafitout.com, either is enough to price from.

Survey and specification

We measure the unit, check the sightlines and services, and agree board, glass, hardware and finish against your brand standard rather than guessing at it.

Line-item quotation

Materials, hardware, glass, lighting integration, finish and install separated, with the install window written in. On a chain, priced per store once the first unit is agreed.

Build, then install to your window

Units are cut, edged and finished before install day, so store time is fitting rather than fabricating, planned to the centre's access and delivery rules.

Snag, hand over, warrant

Doors and drawers aligned, glass cleaned, site cleared, photos on completion, and a written 6-month workmanship warranty with hardware manufacturer warranties passed through.

Retail display questions

Can you roll the same fixtures out across all our stores?

Yes, that is exactly how we are set up to work. One unit built and approved first, materials and hardware locked to that spec, then batched production and store-by-store installs sequenced against each location's programme, so the last branch matches the first.

We have brand fixture drawings from head office. Can you build to them?

That is the brief we price from. We price from the drawings and the finishes schedule, flag anything that will not build or will not survive trading before fabrication, and match the approved samples rather than the nearest board in stock.

Do you install outside trading hours?

Yes. Mall and landlord install windows are often overnight or early morning, and we plan the install to the centre's window, with access, lifts and documentation arranged with centre management before the first delivery.

How is display joinery priced?

Per unit and per programme: size, materials, glass and hardware, lighting integration and finish set the number, with rollouts priced per store once the first unit is agreed. The quotation is line-item so you can see what each specification choice costs across a whole store list, not just one unit.

Can you repair or refresh existing store fixtures?

Yes: damaged display units repaired, fronts and finishes refreshed between campaigns, and fixtures adapted when a range changes. It is usually a fraction of a refit, and it can run under a commercial AMC alongside the rest of the store.

What warranty covers store fixtures?

The same written warranty as every Samra job: a 6-month workmanship warranty on the labour, with hardware manufacturer warranties passed through and the terms stated on the quotation.
