Fluted and slatted feature walls
The vertical slat look, in oak or walnut veneer, painted MDF flutes, or timber battens on an acoustic felt backing, set out so the spacing lands symmetrically at both ends of the wall, the detail that separates carpenter work from glued sheets.
Wainscoting and wall moulding
Classic panelled walls: shaker frames, applied wall moulding, picture rails and half-height wainscoting for hallways, stairs and dining rooms, scribed to your walls and sprayed in any colour.
TV media walls
A media wall is panelling with a job: the TV recessed or mounted flush, cables gone, floating shelves or cabinets built in, lighting grooves where the design wants them. Built as one piece of joinery, sized to your lounge, with our electricians handling the sockets behind it.
Bedroom and headboard walls
Panelled walls behind the bed, upholstery-free, in timber, veneer or paint, often built together with a fitted wardrobe so the whole wall reads as one design.
Acoustic and veneer panelling for commercial spaces

Wooden partitions, screens and mashrabiya
Where a feature wall needs to divide a space too, one team is the partition maker and the panelling carpenter: the partition is built and panelled as one structure. Slatted screens and mashrabiya-style lattice panels, the classic Gulf answer to privacy with light and air, are supplied and fitted to the same standard, as room dividers, window screens or a majlis wall.
Timber slat ceilings
The ceiling version of the slat wall: timber slat ceilings with acoustic backing for lounges, majlis rooms and offices, run in line with the panelling so the room reads as one design. Wood ceiling installation is set out and fixed by the same carpenters, coordinated with the ceiling and services trades where a commercial ceiling is involved.
Carpenter-built panelling vs buying wall panels
Dubai is full of shops selling PVC, WPC and 3D wall panels by the sheet, and for a quick rental refresh they have their place. What a sheet cannot do is turn a corner cleanly, absorb an uneven wall, carry a TV, hide a cable run, or land a slat rhythm symmetrically on your specific wall. Carpenter-built panelling is measured to the room, scribed to the walls Dubai buildings actually have, fixed properly, and finished by our own painting team, which is why it reads as architecture rather than covering. If a bought panel is honestly the right answer for your budget, we will tell you that too.
Materials and finishes
Painted MDF, the workhorse
Moisture-resistant MDF, Egger or Kronospan board where a faced panel is called for, profiled for flutes and frames, primed and sprayed in any colour. Crisp lines, repairable, and the economical choice per metre for wainscoting and moulded walls.
Veneer, the timber look that stays flat
Oak and walnut veneer over engineered board, book-matched across panels for large walls. Stable through Dubai's humidity swings where solid boards would move, the construction behind most luxury panelled interiors and interior wood cladding.
Solid timber battens
Real timber slats where touch and depth matter, oiled or lacquered, on painted or felt backings.
Sprayed by our own painters
Panelling is half carpentry, half finish. Ours is sprayed and touched in by the same company's painting team, so the joinery quote and the finish quote cannot blame each other.
Choosing a panelling style
Fluted and slat walls
Vertical rhythm, contemporary, at home behind a TV or a bed. Slat spacing is a design decision: tight flutes read formal, wider slats read relaxed, and the set-out must land symmetrically at both ends, which is where carpenter-built beats sheet goods.
Shaker frames and wainscoting
Classic framed panels, half-height for hallways and dining rooms, full-height for studies. Painted MDF keeps it crisp and repairable, and half-height wainscoting doubles as wall protection where chairs and bags hit.
Applied moulding on paint
The lightest-touch style: wall moulding frames applied to a flat wall and painted as one surface. The economical route to a panelled look, and the easiest to extend room by room later.
Veneer feature walls
Book-matched oak or walnut veneer across a full wall, the statement finish for majlis rooms, offices and master bedrooms, built on engineered board so it stays flat through Dubai summers.

Design and set-out
We propose the pattern, flutes, frames or slats, with the set-out drawn so spacing lands evenly, and agree material and finish with samples.
Fixed written quote
Material, machining, install, finish and any electrical, line-item with the install date. Panelling is priced per wall and pattern after measuring, not per mystery metre.
Build, install, spray
Profiling and priming happen off-site; installation is set out with a laser level, scribed in, then finished. Apartments run inside approved building hours.
Handover and warranty
The wall cleaned and photographed, a written 6-month workmanship warranty logged, touch-up paint noted for the future.

How is wall panelling priced in Dubai?
Per wall: size, pattern density, material and finish set the number, a painted shaker design and a full-height book-matched veneer run are different projects. Send the photo and sizes and the quote comes back line-item, so you can see what the pattern and the material each add.
Can the TV really go inside the panelling?
Yes, that is a media wall: the bracket blocked out at build stage, power and HDMI routed behind the panels by our electricians, and the TV sitting flush or recessed with no visible cable. Sound bars, consoles and routers get ventilated homes inside the joinery.
Panelling on Dubai's not-quite-straight walls, does it work?
That is precisely why it is carpenter's work. Battens are packed and levelled flat, panels scribed to the real wall, and the finished face ends up straighter than the wall behind it. Snap-on sheets follow every bump; built panelling corrects them.
Which rooms suit wainscoting?
Hallways, stairs, dining rooms and bedrooms take it best, half-height keeps the room light while protecting the wall where chairs and bags hit it. Full-height framed walls suit studies and formal rooms. We bring pattern photos to the measure so you choose from real Dubai examples.
Do you do small jobs, one feature wall?
One wall is the most common order on this page. Whole-home panelling packages exist too, usually inside a renovation, but a single lounge or bedroom wall is bread-and-butter work for this team.
Acoustic slat panels, real or marketing?
Real, within limits. Timber slats on an acoustic felt backing soften echo in hard-floored Dubai rooms noticeably, which is why offices and restaurants order them. They are sound treatment, not soundproofing, a wall that stops noise from the neighbours is a construction job, and we will say which one you are asking for.
